I was working from 9 am to 10 pm yesterday because the CC was having their 7th Anniversary Celebration. To honor the celebration, we have walk-a-jog in the morning followed by subsidized health screening, baby show, children art competition etc. The babies are super duper cute, too bad I am stuck in the office so I could not really take a closer look at all of the cuties. *sad. I wish I have one of my own too but I’m still to young. *Wink.
After the morning rush, it was quieter in the noon. Therefore, it was quite boring so I just blog hop and google around. Surprisingly, I found some of my friends’ blog. I am not a stalker, just found it by chance.
In the night was worse, totally nothing to do. However there was a commotion just outside the CC. A member of the public came in and asked me to call the police, according to him, a fight is about to break out. I have never called the police before so I let him made the call. Serious, I don’t know what to tell the police so I think it will be better for a person who knows what is going on to make the call.
The Uncle, either the woman’s lover or husband was hitting her. The daughter stepped out immediately and shout at him ‘Don’t you dare to hit my mother!’ I absolutely HATE men who lay their hands on women. Men are supposed to be protectors; resort to violence should be the last alternative. Even if it is the last resort, I still think it is wrong. God give you hands to work, not for violence.
The same applies to war, we are not meant to create wars. Wars are totally meaningless. I really wonder why humans are always doing meaningless stuffs. Earth is really a mere reflection of hell with small parts of heaven in between for the kind souls.

My whole week have been spent working, career talk and on starring smu. We have not even started school and we are given a talk on career selection and job suitability. This is how extreme smu is. After our career talked on 24th, Simin, Jaclyn, Sam and myself went for lunch before I met my brother and his friends for Red Cliff.

Me, Sam, Simin and Jaclyn!
Lucky, Simin joined me, or else I will be the only female around. Red cliff is super good, the action is way cool and I think the strategies used is well explained so for the benefit of people who is clueless about the ‘The Three Kingdoms’ like me can still understand it.
Oh, Simin has unofficially become my 'sister-in-law', inside joke. Haa.
The next two days are spent car washing in Holland v. Part of starring smu project. 6 dollars is charged for each wash and the money will go towards building of ‘My Bouna Vista Place’ where the senior citizens can hang out. We washed like more than 50 cars throughout the 2 days. Trust me, Holland v have a lot of rich people, you can tell just by looking at the number of BMWs and such. Oh and I finally found the time to meet up with Kenneth. He has been so busy flying around and me with my work. A short lunch meet up but good enough as we share all the gossips. Hee.

Don't you love this car?

Group 14! Acting cute. I am the cutest! Muhaha.
Kenneth! My Hk buddy!
After car wash, I finally went to watch Dark Knight with Trudy, Simin, Penny and Alissa. The joker is really evil-looking. I *hate the part where he tried to cut people’s mouth so that they smile. He is so SICK! Overall, comparing to red cliff, I will support red cliff. Mainly because I think the plot is better and so are the actions. It requires more skills to perform what the actors do although in dark knight, they are tested more on their acting skills. Basically, I am just not a super hero movies fan.
Reach home around 12 plus in the night and I have to work the next day from 9 am to 10 pm. Sure can die!

Somehow, I don’t feel prepared for Uni. I am still in the state in which I cannot believe I will be studying in smu and I am approach the adult stage soon. I don’t want to go there yet. It will mean a lot more responsible which equate to stress.
I don’t handle stress well. Haha.
There are so many things to worry about, such as bidding for class, making new friends, buying of textbook, getting use to new environment, system and culture. Although I have roughly been through all these but all these procedures seem somewhat alien to me. Guess that is what most people are feeling.
I was reading some forum and the way they describe smu lifestyle is so scary. Things such as how competitive it is, people working late into the night and having to come back to school on weekends. Even my friends and seniors told me its not easy. *Worried.
*Pray that I will sail through everything smoothly.

Alright, I promised to explain Starring SMU. Every smu students have to complete 80 hours of compulsory CIP before graduation. Therefore Starring smu is a CIP project that helps the student to clear their 80 hours before school starts.
This year, we clear 10 hours by having a team bonding day in which we get to know the team mates for the next 7 days. For the other 7 days, we have pledge of the nation in which we go around Sg to take pictures of others who supports racial harmony. You can play a part to by taking your pledge at this website, www.starringsmu.org/pledge. It will be presented as a gift to Sg, we need 30,000 pledges so do send your pledges in, ok?
We will also be doing car wash and the money collected will be donated to charity. It will take place on 25 and 26 July at Holland V, cost 6 bucks. A lot of pretty girls around so do come down and support, ok?
Other than those mentioned above, we get to learn to play the drums and dance samba as we will be performing for the public.
Overall, I have a great experience so far, made lots of new funky friends, totally enjoy myself. Well, I am looking forward to the car wash, should be fun!

Busy busy busy!
Everyday of my week is packed with work, Starring SMU (Will tell you more abt it in my next entry, I hope), school stuffs and outings.
Tired but fruitful. Getting to know new people all over again, earn some extra cash, meet my darlings and preparing for school to start.
Oh, I will be going for 3 CAMPS! Yesssss, not one or two but THREE camps!!!
Some people must be thinking I am crazy but I know of people who are going for 4 or 5 camps, ok so I am considered normal.
First Camp: Bondue Camp aka Business Camp will be from 1 – 3 Aug
Second Camp: Arts Camp will be from 7 – 9 Aug, yes I joined because I am a cultural person. Muhaha…
Lastly: Freashman Teambuilding Camp will be from 13 – 15 Aug, this is compulsory for all Smu students. The good thing is I already know some friends who will be attending the same run as me! There are 4 runs for it and I took the last due to my commitments. So YAY! I’ll have some company!!!
Don’t miss me too much during these times, ok? Can always sms or call me in the night. I think I should be able to answer it.
And I don’t think I will die since I am not really joining something physical.
Life is becoming interesting and I hope it gets better! I want to live my uni life to the fullest!!!

I know I have not been blogging for a long time. Not sure why suddenly, I have the urge to start again.
My ‘New’ chapter will be starting soon, in the form of a new level of education where I’ll meet new people, experience a total new environment and system. Therefore, I have been thinking, after this, what next? Most of you will say ‘WORK’ however its so vague. There are so many kinds of jobs out there, too many options to choose from until I am confused on which path I hope to establish.
I’ve been having second thoughts on marketing, and choose tourism instead. I think I should pick something that I excel in, as well as have interest in. Actually, I don’t know what I can excel in. It seems that I am ‘Jack of some trades, master of none’. It is so FRUSTRATING that I am going to hit the big 2 and I am still stuck in dilemma like this.
I want to be enlighten.

Sometimes, I wish I have the abilities to travel round the world. Knowing that the world is so big out there yet unable to explore really pains me.
I want to see, hear and feel what is out there.
When will this dream come true?

Finally, I will be graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic tomorrow. In fact, its today since it is already pass midnight.
Tomorrow, I will get my Diploma!!! Yay!
My brother and Su Xian will be coming too, I really thought I would have no one to see me graduate at first. Lucky, they are coming as this is really one of the big day for me.
Looking back, I have many fond memories. Be it with my class, friends that I made in my CCA, orientations or other events that I’ve joined. I also have my sad memories, of course but I think those are best to be forgotten. Time really flies, I still remember when I first enter the school, and that was to register. I was naïve then, not that I am not now but more naïve than now.
Now that I am really going to graduate, I wonder what the future have in store for me. I just hope it will be pack with more exciting and meaningful events. I am excited to see what the future holds for me.

Recently, I have been listening to 周公讲鬼 because it is so interesting. For all of those who don’t know about周公讲鬼. It is a program in FM 9.33 and host by周崇庆.Chong Qin will read out the ghost stories from readers or find some interesting ghost stories and read it to the listeners.
Lucky for podcast, I get to listen to all the eerily, scary ghost stories. The link is
http://www.podcast.sg/yes933/ghost/index.xml.
There is one story quite scary, told by David Aw. He actually heard it from his friends. His friends were overseas and went to the KTV. There were around 5 of them. They were singing happily when SUDDENLY… They press the service button. Haha, bet you all were wondering I was about to say something, right? Well, they wanted to cancel the button but it was too late. A waiter opened the door and asked what they need so they explained the mistakes. The waiter smile and told them ‘It’s alright’ closed the door and left.
Then, they continue with their singing when SUDDENLY… Hmm, are all of you thinking I am trying to trick you again but not, continue to read on… suddenly they realized that the door that the waiter came from was from the toilet. In overseas’ KTV, there is a toilet in every room.
They walked slowly towards the toilet, turned the knob and open the door slowly but there was no one inside. They ran out immediately to the cashier. The cashier told them that indeed, there are many weird incidents in this KTV.
OMG, super scary!
If any of you have any ghost story to share with me, I will be willing to put it on my blog.
I think its quite cool to listen to other people’s stories.
